Spring is in the Air! The Spring (Vernal) Equinox in September marks the first day of astronomical spring in the Southern Hemisphere. It is when the length of day and night is nearly equal. This is a time of renewal, balance, growth, and gratitude.
This Spring Equinox, join us at the Perth Observatory between 9.30 am and 11.30 am to celebrate this astronomical event. There will be a guided tour of the observatory grounds and then a lovely morning tea on our back lawn with live music from the Parkerville Band, refreshments, and a native seedling, donated from Zanthorrea Nursery, for you to take home and plant.
To book your spot on Spring Equinox Morning Tea right now, you need to enter the number of people coming in and then click the date in the booking calendar. A green background denotes there is still space on the morning tea, the red background denotes the morning tea is fully booked and the yellow background denotes today’s date.
Once you’ve done that, click on the Book Now button and that will take you to the checkout section where you can pay for your tour.
You’ll get a confirmation email and on the day the host will ask you for the name the booking was under and then mark you off on the booking sheet.
