The vollies put their wellies on and grab their gardening tools
Perth Observatory volunteers do more than just show visitors the night sky: many prefer more Earth-bound work such as keeping the buildings and grounds in top condition. This winter, POVG has been busy with multiple maintenance tasks such as cleaning and clearing the bushes and gardens, adding an amphitheatre out the back on the lawn, new painting and appointments inside the main building and organising space for research projects.
